HERE'S THE SCOOP!

OUR GLORIOUS PAST
MyComrade.com is an off-shoot of My Comrade magazine, which debuted on NYC’s underground scene way back in 1987 and has kept publishing on and off ever since, earning a loyal cult following and press accolades galore. Interview magazine has hailed MC as "a leading purveyor of avant-guard gay and lesbian humor." (For a complete history of the magazine, visit mycomrademagazine.com.)

OUR NEW LIFE ON THE WEB
The most recent issue of My Comrade was published in 2006, and there are plans for future issues. For now, the focus is on making MyComrade.com the world's most exciting queer website. The site's current format was launched in May 2008.

FORMAT
The online version of My Comrade is as lively as the day it was born—a kind of Vanity Fair/Art Forum/Mad Magazine for the gay smart set, reveling in outrageous camp, witty social satire, innovative graphic design, and exhilarating coverage of the cultural fringe.
The site’s frequently updated content includes a "Top Headlines" blog, Feature Stories (several-page interviews, photo spreads, etc.), "Boob Tube" videos and a Photo Novella.

AUDIENCE
My Comrade attracts a worldwide audience—young-thinking, trend-setting readers that are fed up with the humdrum gay media and eager for a fabulous queer website to call their own.
