Since moving five years ago from Harlem, the art gallery known as The Project has made its home on high-rent 57th Street, right around the corner from Tiffany’s and Trump Tower. But the gallery still abounds with free-wheeling energy—the mostly male crowd that flocked last night to the new group show, “The Left Hand of Darkness,” was ripe with cute young things clad in breezy summer attire.
