Dandy: A man who affects extreme elegance in clothes and manners; a fop.
It was a dandy delight in Soho last night as some of NYC’s best-known fops gathered to discuss and show off their unique sense of style—sartorial and otherwise.
The panel discussion at the Leslie-Lohman Gay Art Foundation was in conjunction with the galley’s current exhibition, “The Line of Fashion,” a collection of work by fashion illustrators.
Artist Jonathan Hallgrey (left) and fashion-scene fixture Patrick McDonald (who is the inspiration for several different works in the exhibit).

It was the most fashionable gathering in town! No straight guys allowed!
