MUSEUM OF MODERN ART Throws A Tripped Out Party With Visuals By MultiMedia Collective AVAF!

An absolutely stunning art and music installation—a collaboration between multimedia collective assume vivid astro focus (avaf) and sound masters Black Meteroic Star—was the focus last night at a special party at New York’s majestic Museum of Modern Art.

You’ll have to look elsewhere for pictures of the super trippy décor and lights (We gotta get a better camera!), but we did get some shots of the attendees…

3-D glasses helped hypnotize the crowd, including party-goer Etienne.

On the right is avaf member Christophe Hamaide Pierson with gallery owner John Connelly (John Connelly Presents).  Unfortunately, we didn’t run into avaf founder and ringleader Eli Sudbrack.

Machine Dazzle turned it out!  Mask by avaf.

Go-go dancer Viva of the Dazzle Dancers mesmerized the crowd with her acid-trip antics.

Afterwards, much of the crowd moseyed to the nearby Kuma Sutra Lounge, a fabulous space above an Indian restaurant.

Nomi Ruiz, lead singer for Hercules and Love Affair, who did a DJ set.  She's a sweetie!

And just because he was so extraordinary, here’s one more pic of Machine, this time with photographer Eileen Keane.

What a fantastic way to kick off the summer season!
