Your Social Calendar for May 1st and 2nd - NYC, L.A., Paris

Lots going on…

THURSDAY, MAY 1st
Miss Understood celebrates her birthday at Riot! at Stonewall, NYC.  If you’re looking for a present, how about some makeup… unnatural colors only, please.

THURSDAY, MAY 1st
Comedian and YouTube sensation John Roberts shows off his skill at playing all sorts of nutty characters at Comix, NYC.

FRIDAY, MAY 2nd
The Black Peter Group with cutie lead singer Gio plays a nightclub birthday party in Paris.  Their new mix of “It’s Fucked Up” is slamming!

FRIDAY, MAY 2nd
Billy Miller, publisher of the legendary gay zine Straight to Hell, has come up with another publication, No Milk Today, featuring contributions by hip and happening artists galore.  The release party for the debut issue should be quite the scene.

FRIDAY, MAY 2nd
Kenny Mellman (of Kiki & Herb) and powerhouse singer Bridget Everett pull into Los Angeles for a performance of their show Sexercise Live!, a tribute to the raunchy song stylings of Millie Jackson.

FRIDAY, MAY 2ND
Always entrancing performer and DJ Billy Beyond is a special guest at the NYC party Spank!

Back in the supermodel era, Billy used to strut the runway in full drag for Todd Oldham!  So chic!

FRIDAY, MAY 2nd
And finally, Viva!, opens in NYC. The film by Anna Biller is a takeoff on 1960s and '70s sexploitation films.  From the looks of this scene, it should be a hoot!
